Accredited with grade A by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council, the Institute of Excellence in Higher Education (IEHE) is an academy identified as an autonomous body in handling matters of academic, financial, and administrative significance. The institution is placed in close adjacency to Kaliasot Dam in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh and over time has been a significant body of attraction for sincere students looking for relevant and exceptionally professional and academic training that shall serve as the seeds of future prosperity. The state of the art curriculum that at once adheres to conventional modes of study and also makes necessary amendments in the educational system practiced if and when necessary to promote the imparting of knowledge and education, all the while maintaining a close eye at present trends and techniques in the educational field is one of its kind. The Government of the State recognizes the potential of the institute as a perfect niche directing all its resources towards its true cause that holds knowledge as the light that would serve for the betterment of academic faculty of the state and beyond, preparing and honing the credibility of its students in an undeviating fashion. IEHE offers a vast realm of educational courses for the applicants to choose from, be it honors degrees in Arts, Commerce, and Sciences or post-graduation degrees and Vocational courses which are directed towards training individuals with industry-relevant skills which are more occupation and vocation specific in nature relating to a particular trade.

Affiliated to Barkatullah Univerity, the admissions procedure, and criterion to enroll in any of the courses under IEHE, Bhopal is based on the norms established by the Department of Higher Education, Government of Madhya Pradesh and the selection rests on the merit of the applicants acquired in the qualifying examinations. Relaxation in the marks obtained and there is a reservation of 16% of the seats for the Scheduled Castes, 20% for the Scheduled Tribes and 14 % for the OBCs, 3% for the wards of defense personnel and Central Armed Forces, 3% for the physically challenged and 30% for girls in all of the categories. The institute also grants scholarships and awards on merit and need basis: merit-cum-means scholarship of INR 5000 to students whose parent’s income is below INR 1.5 Lakhs, Economic Assistance of INR 5000 in order of merit, INR 2000 for honors subject toppers of undergraduate, postgraduate and M.Phil. Students and Dr. N.P. Singh Memorial award of INR 5000 for three applicants whose parents’ income is below INR 3.6 lakhs per annum.

The administration and infrastructure facilitate hostel accommodations for both girls and boys separately and respectively, followed by availability of medical assistance if and when required, a cafeteria that serves the food requirements accordingly at affordable rates, well-equipped laboratories, and libraries, gym, and auditorium supported by alumni associations for the best interests of the students
