Paramedical Courses List

Paramedical Courses are related to the allied healthcare sector. These are the courses that students generally take after their core medical courses are taken up. These courses include Anesthesia Technology, Operational Technology, X-Ray technology, and many more. There are Bachelors’s, Diploma, and Certificate courses available in the paramedical sciences.
In this day and age, allied paramedical sciences are becoming more and more, and there is a lack of trained personnel due to less interest shown by students in these courses. But this is a branch which needs attention as it is the need of the hour.

The Bachelor’s degrees are three years long. Plus they mostly have one more year of practical training in hospitals attached to the medical college you are pursuing the course in. Students with biology in their 12th grade as their fourth subject are considered eligible to take up UG courses in these fields.

These courses can last between 6 months and two years.

The entrance exams for various colleges are taken by them. There are also state-level examinations conducted by state governments for admission into government medical colleges. NEET-UG is the most important exam for all biology students as it is the national test whose marks are accepted by most medical and agricultural colleges. Most colleges have a quota for their entrance exam if they have one, and then an allowance for students who come in through giving NEET-UG.
