Sitaram Jindal Scholarship

A massive chunk of the Indian population is still under the poverty line, and thus, many young children are denied the right to a proper education. As a part of the developing country, all of these students must be allowed to shine in their way. That is why we have scholarship schemes in India. The Scholarship funding gives a sufficient amount for all of the days to day necessities of the student.

As the child goes away to school, the working wage of the student will be covered up to an extent by the scholarship scheme. Students availing the scholarship can get avail funding even for their attendance at Rs.10 per day of actual attendance for boys and Rs.12 per day of actual attendance for girls. Up to 1000 students are admitted by this scheme every year. The age of the child should not be less than seven years to join the scheme. The student can continue to avail of the scholarship from his class I to class X. If the student wishes to continue his scholarship, then he is required to re-apply to the scholarship as per the given scheme

APJ Abdul Kalam Scholarships

The Sitaram Jindal Scholarship scheme can be divided into five categories, which are

  • Category A
  • Category B
  • Category C
  • Category D
  • Category E.

CATEGORY A :

  • This scholarship scheme is for the students who are in their 11th and 12th classes.
  • The students who are selected can get a scholarship amount of Rs.500 per month.
  • Male students who are selected have to maintain at least 65% of the total marks, and for Female students, it is 60% of the total marks.
  • For students who are in Karnataka, the Male students have to acquire a minimum mark of 75% of the total marks and the
  • Female students have to receive about 70% of the total marks.
  • For students who are in West Bengal, the Male student has to acquire a minimum mark of 70%, and the Female student has to receive a minimum mark of 65% of the total marks.

CATEGORY B :

  • The scholarship scheme is for the students who are in ITI ( As per the SJF Trade List). The students in the Government ITIs would receive an amount of Rs.500 per month.
  • The students in Private ITIs would receive an amount of Rs.700 per month.
  • The Male student has to acquire a minimum mark of 50% of the total, and for the female students, it is 40% of the total mark.

CATEGORY C :

GRADUATE COURSES

  • The students who fall into the graduation courses are eligible for this scheme.
  • The students who are in the General Category and are Male students have to maintain a minimum pass percentage of 60%
  • and can avail an amount of Rs.800 per month and the Female students who belong to the General Category have to maintain a minimum pass percentage of 55% and can avail an amount of Rs.1000 per month.
  • The students who are from Karnataka, the Male students would have to acquire a minimum mark of 70% and the Female students have to obtain a score of 65%.
  • The students who are in West Bengal, The Male student has to obtain a minimum mark of 65%, and the Female Student has to receive 60%.
  • The students who are Physically Challenged or are Handicapped receive an amount of Rs.1000 and those students whose parent is a widow or single ward of ex-servicemen then they shall receive an amount of Rs 1200.

CH Muhammad scholarship

POSTGRADUATE COURSES

  • The students who fall in the postgraduate courses are eligible for this scheme.
  • The students who are in the General Category and are Male students have to maintain a minimum pass percentage of 65% and can avail an amount of Rs.1000 per month and the Female students who belong to the General Category have to maintain a minimum pass percentage of 60% and can avail an amount of Rs.1200 per month.
  • The students who are from Karnataka, the Male students would have to acquire a minimum mark of 70% and the Female students have to obtain a score of 65%.
  • The students who are Physically Challenged or are Handicapped receive an amount of Rs.1200 and those students whose parent is a widow or single ward of ex-servicemen then they shall receive an amount of Rs 1500.

CATEGORY D:

  • The students who are in all of the diplomas fall to this category.
  • The Male students have to maintain a minimum of 60% marks to avail an amount of Rs.1000 per month, and the female students have to maintain a minimum score of 55% to avail a scholarship of Rs.1200.

Central Sector Scheme of Scholarship

CATEGORY E:

  • The students pursuing their Engineering courses of all streams are eligible, and the Male students have to maintain a minimum of 70% to avail Rs1500, and the Female students have to keep a minimum of 65% to avail Rs.1700 for all of the states.
  • The students pursuing medicine, the Male students have to maintain 70% of the marks to avail Rs.1800, and the Female students have to keep 65% marks to avail Rs.2000.
  • The students who are pursuing their PG courses in both Medicine and Engineering, the Male students have to maintain 70% to avail Rs.2300, and the Female students have to maintain 65% to avail Rs.2500.
  • The students staying in the hostel get an additional Rs.800 if the student is of ITI/Diploma/UG/PG and Rs.1200 if the student is of medicine or Engineering.
